Here is what a recent review says about Dr. Punia, “I have unfortunately had the displeasure of encountering this man on several occasions. I found him to be very rude and disrespectful. He continuously talked over me refusing to listen to a word i was trying to say. At one point he even claimed that this was his meeting and that he was in control of it however I have to disagree as this is my mind and body he was talking about. Nobody gets to choose what medication goes into my system but me and I felt on several occasions that he would say things just to push my limits and to try and get a negative reaction out of me. I am appalled that kaiser would employ such a man to take care of its patients. I tried to give him a chance yet was met with the same bad manners each time. I would not recommend him to anybody seeking a good psychiatrist who will listen to your problems. Alas this is just my honest opinion and I hope and pray that if others are forced under his care that he treats them at least a hundred times better than how I was treated. Good luck to anyone who would like to give this guy another chance. I unfortunately cannot handle having him as part of my treatment plan and am glad to have let him go.”
